Joan Marzocca

I have worked at Palisades Country Day School since 2007. I spent my first three years in the 4 year olds program before moving to the toddler’s program as a teacher's assistant. I enjoyed both ages very much!  Before Palisades, I was the teaching assistant in the YWCA Bergen County School in their pre-kindergarten program for seven years. I have been a Head Counselor for the Tiny-Tot Program in our summer camp since 2009.  I love working with children, but when I am not, being with family and close friends is my hobby and joy. At Palisades, we strive to bring out the best in each other and our students. There is no greater feeling than knowing you have the friendship and support of your co-workers and knowing you have helped a young child to learn and grow and to acquire a great start in their school career. I love being part of that experience.
