I have worked at Palisades since 2005; as a head teacher, co-founded the tiny-tot summer camp program, and in 2016, I assumed the Administrative Director position of the Closter Upper School.  I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education from Springfield College and a lifetime teaching certificate in the state of New Jersey.  I spend my free time with my three fantastic boys, enjoying their various sporting events. I am an avid reader, Sudoku player, and love traveling to see my extended family. Palisades is like my second home, the environment is warm and embracing, the staff is thoughtful and friendly, and the children and their families put a smile on my face making it a wonderful place to come to each day.

I am also the Administrative Director of the Palisades eight-week summer camp.  My duties include making sure that we are within state regulations and all state compliances for day camp operations, as well as, overseeing our association and accreditation with the American Camp Association.  I teach camp safety procedures that ensure the well-being of our campers, I keep all of our pools within state safety guidelines for young campers, and inspect the grounds for continued camp upkeep.  Having over ten years of head counselor experience with Palisades and knowledge of the camp administration; I co-train all our head counselors in policies, help in solving situations that may arise, and advise our counselors on ensuring the campers have a fun-filled camp experience; because it’s all about fun!
