Linda Meyer
Food Court Manager

I have worked for Palisades since 1999 in many different capacities. I began as a volunteer lunch Mom for my child when he attended Palisades and I loved it so much that I began working that summer as the food court manager. I worked many years for the summer camp as the office manager, before moving into my position as the admissions director of the lower school. In my free time, I love to dance, practice yoga, and spend time with my two fabulous sons. I am privileged to have worked at Palisades over the years; the school's strong leadership and its educational philosophy has made me more confident and I instill that confidence in all of our students within the school.

I am currently the Program Director at Palisades Country Day Camp but I have worn many hats during the summer camp.  I began in the summer of 1999 as the Food Court Manager, serving over two hundred campers.  I coordinated the daily lunches, ordered our weekly supplies, and abided by the food and health regulations for serving food.  Within the year, I was promoted to Camp Office Manager and Transportation Director.  Coordinating bus transportation and all of the camper and staff daily tasks that were necessary to have a smooth and well-organized camp season.  Off-season I developed and distributed camp marketing material, was the camp bookkeeper, organized and ran camp open houses, and constructed computerized reports synchronizing technology with daily aspects of our camp program.  Now in the summer I am in charge of scheduling daily activities and electives for the campers to keep the flow of camp steady; I troubleshoot when needed because of my experiences, and I supervise our specialty areas (Sports, Ceramics, Cooking, Arts and Crafts, and Music) making sure our campers get a phenomenal experience.  I truly love the energy and spirit of PCDC!
